  Most top cricket academies today are expensive, which means only financially privileged players can consistently train there. On the other hand, the few fully-funded opportunities that exist usually go to players who are already part of structured systems  and players who have had prior exposure and training.

This creates a gap where genuinely underprivileged but talented players get stuck in between. They can’t afford access, and at the same time, they’re not yet polished enough to break into elite talent-based programs.

That’s where CUBS Foundation — Cricket’s Untapped & Budding Stars — comes in.

 To provide talented underprivileged cricketers access to quality coaching, opportunities, and long-term development pathways despite their financial difficulties.

• Identify deserving cricket talent through trials, referrals, and scouting
• Collaborate with cricket academies to support financially struggling players
• Create sponsorship and donor pathways for player development
• Provide structured mentorship and career guidance
• Build a sustainable ecosystem connecting talent, academies, NGOs, and supporters

•  Merit First: Selections and support must be based primarily on talent, dedication, discipline, and potential.
• Transparency: All financial support, sponsorship allocation, and selection decisions must be documented.
• Dignity: Players and families must be treated respectfully regardless of socioeconomic background.
• Collaboration: The organization aims to work with academies and not compete against them.
• Child Safety: The physical, emotional, and psychological safety of children is non-negotiable.
